The 'Hair4You' organisation initially started off due to research and unethical speculations around the virgin hair industry. The issues raised identified that the females donors used to fuel the industry may be subjected to exploitation, which can include receiving little or no money for parting with their hair, unfair treatment such as being forced, attacked, robbed, kidnapped or made to donate in false belief, in order for traders to obtain hair in order to supply a growing demanding Western market. Further issues has been identified where traders are also manipulating the market by supplying hair that is not 100% authentic Virgin hair in order to keep up with demands and to keep things cheap. This includes targeting children and young females, mixing animal in bundles, using hair from corpses and also fallen hair from salon floors.

The issues discussed are reasons towards launching 'Hair4You', we carried out surveys in regards to the virgin hair industry and the majority of consumers were unaware of the industry and towards where 'Virgin Hair' actually comes from. Researched gathered influenced the idea of a brand being able to generate awareness towards the industry to make consumers more conscious towards what they are buying, this may result to unethical activities upon donors to decrease.

Virgin Hair is considered to be a prize possession worth a large value of money, as it is 100% authentic hair it needs to be considered towards being a recyclable product so that it can be utilised to the fullest, this is why 'Hair4You' are happy to say that we are a charitable organisation who are the first to carry out such concept of collecting unwanted virgin hair extensions and revamping them into high quality wigs, we hope that through our concept it can make a change by decreasing the amount of unethical aspects towards donors.

The money that we generate through sales within out organisation will be used towards expanding, by creating a UK based fair trade virgin hair extension brand were we specialise and work very closely with overseas traders that only support 100% ethical activity as well as only supplying 100% authentic hair.

We hope that we can create a change and influence western women to get involved with our organisation whether that includes benefiting from a free donation/consultation, purchasing affordable high quality wigs or even by just simply donating your unwanted bundles, there's something for everyone.
